Chiae might have a true summer hit on his hands. Earlier this month, the Atlanta talent liberated a new single titled “Cash Out,” which sees production from T-Minus — a famed beatsmith that’s previously worked with J. Cole, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Young Thug, Bryson Tiller, and more. The track sees him crooning about he and his love interest living life to the fullest whenever they hook up:
“She say what’s up, I say what’s good, she say, not much, I’m in your hood, I said well shit, I’m at the bank, gimme a bit, I’m talkin’ Franks, she drive a Porsche, ride it like a horse, Birkin bag habits, mami do it for the stores, Hennessy in force, remedy the source, it’s always ghost, ghost, ghost, then we do the most, most, most, this is how it, goes, you cash out when, I deal with you…”
Directed by Spike Ree, the accompanying clip begins with the Motown-signed artist sitting at a table with his masked cohorts, interspersed with shots of eye candy surrounded by money in another room. Chaie can also be seen outside with one woman on a horse while trading roses with another — presumably, many of the scenes are left open for interpretation.
Chiae — also known by his full name, Malachiae Warren — isn’t new to crafting dope cuts by any means, as he’s already created success with the likes of Lloyd and Migos over the past several years. Last year, he delivered singles like “Bedroom to The Club” and “Get to The Bag” — he also joined Migos, Mario, Pitbull, Marshmello, G Herbo, and more during “TRILLERFEST,” a virtual music festival created to help raise monet for all affected by COVID-19.
