Yesterday (July 20), fans everywhere celebrated what would have been Pop Smoke’s 22nd birthday. The late rapper’s team also used the day to offer an official release date for the deluxe version of his latest posthumous album, Faith, and shared a few new tracks off the record.

“Midnight we going up for you we turning the pain into champagne everyday,” Pop’s manager Steven Victor wrote on Instagram. “This is for our day ones we’ve decided to drop off [four songs] tonight that are cleared and going to turn up the rest on 7/30 thx everyone involved to help us get this out.”

As promised, Victor and his team released the four new Faith songs at midnight, which include “Questions,” “Run Down” with G Herbo and OnPointLikeOP, “Money Man” featuring Killa and “Defiant,” which sees verses from Dread Woo and TRAVI.

The full Faith (Deluxe) will arrive next Friday (July 30).

As reported by REVOLT, fans flooded Twitter yesterday to mourn and remember Pop. The Brooklyn native was fatally shot last year by a group of home invaders in Los Angeles. At the time, he was 20 years old.

“Happy heavenly birthday #popsmoke,” one fan tweeted. “I wish you were here in person to see all your dreams come true!!!!”

“Happy birthday to the fuckin woo,” another added. “We miss u!!!”

Even without a deluxe edition, Pop Smoke’s Faith album is already doing big numbers. According to HITS Daily Double, the 20-song record is projected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 next week and is expected to earn between 110,000 and 120,000 in album-equivalent units; including 4,000 to 6,000 in album sales.

Faith features Kanye West, Pusha T, Rick Ross, The-Dream, 42 Dugg, 21 Savage, Swae Lee, Future, Chris Brown, Kid Cudi and more.
