Fans who missed Chance The Rapper have been given some recent wins to be excited about. The Chicago star made his return back in March with his new track “The Heart & The Tongue.” Now, he reaches back into the vault to refamiliarize himself with “Work Out,” a 2018 track he released alongside three other loosies: “Wala Cam,” “I Might Need Security,” and “65th & Ingleside.” He linked up with his band to perform and deliver a live performance of “Work Out.” On the track, he raps about how things seem to always play out how they should:

Today I missed my workout, but it worked out, now I’m missing work now, but it worked out/ Had to buy a crib, ‘fore I bought my first house, had my first kid, I love how she turned out

I love how she turned up, even if I’m burned out/ I’ma have so many seeds, I could have a birdhouse, I’ma love on they mama, I hope it work out, I hope it work out/

Chance’s last full-length project was The Big Day, which released in 2019 and saw 22 tracks with additional features from John Legend, Smino, DaBaby, Ari Lennox, Megan Thee Stallion, Gucci Mane, Lil Durk, Nicki Minaj, Chance’s brother and fellow artist Taylor Bennett, and more. While somewhat polarizing from a critical standpoint, the album still landed at the number two spot on the Billboard 200 thanks to 108,000 album equivalent units sold during its debut.

In addition to a social media-only release (the Lil Wayne and Young Thug-assisted “Instagram Song 8”), this year has also seen Chance The Rapper co-starring on tracks like Brandy’s “Baby Mama,” Baha Bank$ “Shake Dat A$$,” Ludacris’ “Found You,” MadeinTYO’s “BET Uncut,” and Justin Bieber’s “Holy.”
