It’s been two long years since Tyler, The Creator liberated his fifth studio LP IGOR, a conceptual album that saw the multi-talent continue to push the boundaries of hip hop and music overall. The 12-track body of work saw mostly uncredited assists from Kanye West, Charlie Wilson, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, and more, all of which amounted to Tyler’s first number one placement on the Billboard 200 thanks to an impressive 165,000 first week album equivalent units. Since then, Tyler’s been increasing his profile in the fashion world, expanding his Golf Wang and Golf le Fleur collections while appearing in GQ Magazine and Gucci ads with close friend A$AP Rocky. He didn’t remove himself from music completely — this year did see him contribute to Brent Faiyaz’s “Gravity” and team up with Coca-Cola for “Tell Me How.”

Recently, some billboards began appearing in Los Angeles with a phone number and the tagline “CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST,” which fans were able to connect back to trunk that Tyler brought with him to last year’s Grammy Awards — leading many to believe that it’s the title of a forthcoming album. Today, that speculation heats up with a new single from the Odd Future alum titled “LUMBERJACK,” a very short-but-sweet offering that sees Tyler returning to the hard-hitting rhymes and distinctive, oft-quirky production that made him popular in the first place:

“Niggas ain’t really on the type of shit he on, I hit Drizzy and told him I had a milli’ for him, I own my companies full, told ‘em to keep the loan, I took the gold bitch home, niggas is big mad, I put that bitch on the shelf to let it ventilate, and bought another car ‘cause I ain’t know how to celebrate, that big boy, that big bitch for all weather, it never rain in Cali’, came with an umbrella…”
