Guapdad 4000 has quickly established himself as an intriguing and unique presence in hip-hop. Following an invite to the Dreamville recording sessions for “Revenge Of The Dreamers III,” the Oakland native was able to secure a spot as a feature on three songs on the album: “Costa Rica,” “Wells Fargo” and “Don’t Hit Me Right Now.” The deluxe version of Dreamville’s third compilation also saw him get two more features on “Passcode” and “No Chorus.” The vibrant personality and energetic delivery were able to make his style and his name stick with listeners, and he has been growing in prominence since.

Earlier this year in March, Guapdad joined forces with one of the coldest producers in the game, !llmind, to deliver their joint LP 1176. Today, they spin the block once again for the album’s deluxe offering.

“If !llmind had a power it would be to shapeshift, he can do anything,” Guapdad said on their collaboration in a statement. He added, “Something like this comes in handy when you need to tell the full spectrum of your story like I did in this music. I had no idea we would stumble upon something this magical though but I guess I should have known that linking up with my Filipino brother would enhance my super powers! Enjoy it scamily.”

With only one new feature on the deluxe version from the likes of Maybach Music CEO Rick Ross, 1176 is more solid than it was before.

With the second quarter of 2021 in full effect and the summer is among us, Guapdad 4000 is on a prowl and it doesn’t seem that he’ll slow down any time soon. It’s never too late to join the party so if you needed new music to add to your playlists, the deluxe version of 1176 would be a great addition — don’t snooze!
