So far in 2021, Luh Kel has shared his singles “7:26am” and “I Wish.” He has now returned to drop off his latest cut, the pain-filled “F Love” track, which finds him in a regretful state in terms of opening his heart. On the song, Luh Kel sings about feeling a void in his heart:

Now it’s fuck love, don’t really want to trust love, falling down I can’t come up/ Just want to get drugged up, now I fell for and you with me, now you gone from my heart, feeling empty/

Falling down with no help you can’t get me, I can feel my mind trippin and driftin’/ I can’t survive, covered in lies, Need you by my side/ Car wreck when you not in my ride, I been moving so left you the right/ I can’t breathe girl, I needa be alive, feeling like I’m running out of time

Also recently, Luh Kel linked up with Trippie Redd to concoct their collab track “Feen,” which arrived with an accompanying music video as well. The R&B artist shared his two single pack “All In You” and “Want You” featuring Queen Naija before unleashing L.O.V.E. in its entirety back in October. The body of work boasted 14 tracks and included a remix of his “Wrong” song featuring Lil TJay. His last full-length project before that was Mixed Emotions, which was released in November of 2019. He also tapped in with Capalow for their collab track “Been That Way” earlier this Fall.

As far as the aforementioned “Feen” collab goes, Luh Kel always had confidence the song was going to do well. “Always from the jump, I knew ‘Feen’ was going to be a hit. I was in the booth with Scott Storch and we were just cooking up. We knew it was going to be a big song,” he said in a recent interview. “When we were shooting the video, we wanted to capture that feeling of the highs and lows that come with love. And it was awesome shooting and recording with Trippie, he made the whole thing even better.”
