Ahead of her upcoming debut project, Queen Naija has shared another visual for her single “Pack Lite.” The new video is an alternate version of a previously released version of the song. Earlier this year, she released a remix of her popular song “Butterflies” by grabbing a verse from Wale.

The original video for her single “Pack Lite,” which was directed by Teyana Taylor, was released back in July and has garnered over 13 million YouTube views since. After the success of the original release, Queen decided to run it back and give fans another version of the video to indulge in. In the AlphamaleVisuals-directed video, Queen puts her acting chops to use as she kicks out her lover, throwing all his belongings into the backyard and into their pool.

On “Pack Lite,” Queen sings about loving hard but wanting better:

“Cause I worked too hard, but I love you way more harder. I done had my share of bein’ walked all over, now I’m smarter. You can think you right all you want, I see through you just like water. You can go ‘head, puff up your chest, but it better not go no further.”

After the arrival of her 2018 self-titled debut EP, Queen emerged as a promising figure in the R&B world, and she has since been working her way in the music industry. Earlier this year, Escape Tracks put together a virtual concert with YouTube to benefit the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund, and headlining acts included Queen Naija, BJ The Chicago Kid, Luh Kel and Eric Bellinger.

Queen’s break-ups have been rather public, as her and her ex-husband once had an extremely popular joint YouTube channel where they documented their family’s life. However, fans can be sure that the love and break-up anthems from Queen won’t stop anytime soon. In an interview, Queen Naija assures that despite having her heart broken, she’ll always keep searching for love:

“I keep falling in love. I don’t believe that, when you get your heart broken, you automatically stop believing in love. I still believe in opening up and being vulnerable. Love is necessary in life, and if one don’t work out, that doesn’t mean the next one can’t.
