To say Doja Cat’s 2019 Hot Pink project kept its momentum going since its release would be a severe understatement. After experiencing ongoing success from that project, Doja Cat is steadily gearing up to share her next body of work, and has officially unleashed a taste. For her latest offering, Doja teams up with SZA for their collab single “Kiss Me More.” On the song, they deliver the smoothly seductive subject matter as expected:

Boy, you write your name, I can do the same, Ooh, I love the taste, oh-la-la-la-la-la/ All on my tongue, I want it, I be late fucking something/ But we can be corny fucking, sugar, I ain’t no gummy-dummy/ I like to say “What if? But if” we can kiss and just cut the rubbish/ Then I might be on to somethin’, I ain’t givin’ you one in public/

In addition to her latest visual “Streets,” Doja Cat’s Hot Pink has also spawned other dope cuts like “Juicy,” “Like That,” and the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper “Say So,” the last of which subsequently saw an updated assist from Nicki Minaj. Currently, Doja is said to be working on an official follow-up titled Planet Her. Back in 2019, Doja Cat liberated her Hot Pink project, a 12-track body of work that saw additional appearances from Smino, Gucci Mane, and Tyga.

Although we don’t know much solid information about the next project, SZA spoke about it in a previous interview with Zane Lowe and revealed that, although she’s given us a taste, we still should expect the unexpected. “This body of work is very…um… Everything sounds different, but it all sounds like me,” she says. “So like ‘Hit Different’ doesn’t sound like anything else on the project and neither does ‘Good Days.’”
