It’s been two years since Nipsey Hussle was fatally shot in front of his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles. Many of the Victory Lap emcee’s loved ones took to social media to pay tribute to the late rapper, including Lauren London, his longtime girlfriend and mother of his youngest son.

On Wednesday (March 31), London penned a touching message to her better half. “The Day Of Ermias’ transition changed the course of my life forever,” she captioned an image of Hussle on Instagram. “2 years, and it feels like yesterday and eternity all at the same time. Grief and Healing have been constant companions on this journey.”

“In Honor of His life and demonstration… May all of Heaven exalt Your name for all You did on Earth and beyond,” she added. “Brave and Beloved Soul, Ermias. You are missed deeply. You are loved immensely. You will forever be. I love you eternally. Your Boogie.”

London and Hussle reportedly began dating in 2013 and share one child together. In 2019, the “Last Time That I Checc’d” emcee was shot and killed in the parking lot of his clothing store after allegedly confronting Eric Holder about being a snitch. Holder reportedly shot Hussle multiple times in the head and torso.

A few days after the shooting, Holder was arrested and charged for Hussle’s death. He pleaded not guilty to one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and weapons charges.

Last week, REVOLT reported that Holder’s public defender filed a bail reduction motion on her client’s behalf. “Based on the isolated nature of this case, Mr. Holder does not pose a risk of harm to the public,” the motion states. “Even a reduction of bail down to $4 million should satisfy any concerns by the court and the District Attorney.” A follow-up hearing is scheduled for April 6.
