All Casanova wanted to do was to join in on the latest TikTok challenge that’s spreading throughout the Internet. After he accepted the challenge and attempted to do it during his recent video visit, the Brooklyn rapper is facing heat from the Westchester County Jail in New York.

On Thursday (Feb. 4), a brief video of Cas doing the #JunebugChallenge, which was recorded by a woman visiting him in jail, was uploaded to his back-up Instagram page. Despite his best efforts to participate in the challenge, the “211” rapper is prohibited from recording videos or taking pictures during all visitations.

According to TMZ, authorities at the Westchester County Jail stripped Casanova of his video visitation privileges. Not only is he forbidden from receiving visitors via video, but he’s also facing an additional disciplinary charge for appearing in the video without a mask. Shortly after his visitation rights were revoked, the rapper’s lawyer issued a statement.

“I am unaware of the specific allegations however, this does appear to be a harmless infraction under the circumstances,” attorney James Kousouros said. “These fellas are in prison, with no visits or meaningful contact with their loved ones. It is unimaginably difficult to keep your spirits and faith under such circumstances.”

Casanova is currently in jail after he pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit racketeering, conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, and firearms possession. He was arrested two months ago after the FBI said the rapper was reportedly involved with the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation gang.

Cas was charged in connection to a racketeering conspiracy involving murder, drug crimes, and gun offenses that occurred over a 10-year span. The “Run The Town” rapper surrendered himself to police on Dec. 2. As of this report, there’s no word on when Casanova’s next court date will occur.
