It’s been a couple of years since Fredo blessed the masses with his debut studio LP Third Avenue, which saw 13 dope cuts and a couple of assists from Lil Dotz and “Funky Friday” collaborator Santan Dave. That project both topped the UK R&B Albums chart and landed within the top five of the UK Albums chart overall. Two years later, he makes a big return with his sophomore effort Money Can’t Buy Happiness, a 11-track tour de force with additional assists from Pop Smoke, Young Adz, Summer Walker, and more.

In addition to the new album, Fredo also liberates a fiery new visual for “Money Talks,” which reunites the West London star with Dave — the South London emcee is also behind the track’s production. In regards to subject matter, “Money Talks” helps to show the listeners how far these talents exist above the opposition:

“Fuck them man, I don’t respect my paigons, coochie freshly shaven, man’s got expectations, old ting try flex on man last week with a dead baecation, baby, I go Heathrow more than your man goes petrol station/

Two white, Ronnie and Roxy, year 9, Donnie did rob me, Big flick *****, that’s gotta be on me, before Black Ops, we had zombies Spooky bando, this T eerie, no Henry Jean, Amiri, come costly, gotta have teeth when a mans this flossy…/”

Directed by Edem Wornoo, the cinematic clip is centered around a £50 bill and plays backwards throughout different lives crossed, including a minister with a drug problem, a prostitute looking for a life change, and a gangster in the middle of a presumed drug deal with Fredo himself. All the while, the two collaborators are seen performing the track in different locations around the aforementioned characters.

Fans can press play on both Fredo’s Money Can’t Buy Happiness and the Dave-assisted “Money Talks” video below.
