Benzino has challenged Royce Da 5’9” to a Verzuz battle.

On Wednesday (Dec. 30), the former “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” star took to Twitter to call out the “Upside Down” spitter. “I know for a fact my catalogue is better than Royce,” Benzino tweeted. “Somebody set up a Verzuz. I promise I’ll destroy Em’s favorite house n*gga. Take the challenge @royceda59, unless u scared.”

Royce thought the challenge was hysterical and reposted a screenshot of the tweet to his Instagram account. “Y’all owe me for these laughs,” he captioned the post. “I want my flowers for these hysterical outbursts during these trying times…This mufuka dun challenged me to a Verzuz battle.”

He continued, “He prefaced this with ‘My Catalogue’ Shut the noise… I better get outta town … I’m not worthy… Challenge not accepted, but big props to ‘I see booty, I see booty.’ Don’t think we even got a venue that could facilitate that massive holy bible of art. Gave me Lennon vibes… Seeing you perform that shit live with the Roots is like top 3 bucket list for me… For real For real..”

Their beef kicked off last month when Benzino went off against Eminem and his “stans.” He called the Music To Be Murdered By rapper a “King Pussy” and said his fans were the “goofiest most out of touch fan base” in hip hop.

Royce also posted a snippet of Benzino’s video for “The Bigger Picture.” In the video, the “Rock The Party” emcee is naked — much like D’Angelo was in his “Untitled” music video.

“I don’t want no problems with you Mr. 5 mics in The Source,” Royce captioned the clip. “The streets know you dangerous when you desperate, so ain’t no telling what lengths you’re willing to elevate this misunderstanding to, so put your shell back on and go do karate with the rest of the Ninja Turtles. I’m a God-fearing, peaceful, fully clothed man.”
