Eminem has been considered one of Hip Hop’s greatests for many years now (and rightfully so). His 1999 The Slim Shady LP release gave his career the kickstart it needed for him to even be in the GOAT conversation and if you take a brief moment to go and check the numbers, you’ll see that approximately 63% of his albums went either at least 4x platinum or reached diamond status. It’s not everyday that you see an artist that can get these type of numbers like it’s nothing — this is what separates Eminem from the majority. His eleventh studio album Music To Be Murdered By (released earlier this year before the COVID-19 pandemic) was a special one and today, the Detroit legend drops off the deluxe version (Side B) of the project.

The world went into a frenzy the other day when rumors and speculation flooded the entire internet and Eminem didn’t even have to say a word. In an Instagram post shared on Tuesday (December 15), Dem Jointz displayed the cover art for several projects he says he worked on this year. In addition to crafting the song “Never Love Again” for Music To Be Murdered By, Dem apparently contributed to a Music To Be Murdered By: Side B, which sits right next to the original cover art in the photo. He wrote in the caption, “Even Thru The Shit-Storm, Thank God For Another Successful Year!! . . . #ProducedWrittenMixedByDemJointz.”

It also didn’t help the fact that Lyrical Lemonade owner and video director Cole Bennett, who was behind Eminem’s “Godzilla” video, in Detroit’s 8 Mile area. It’s actually quite impressive how Marshal went about both releases this year. He opened the year with violence and closed the year out by committing a double murder on the same token. Lend your ears to Side B of Music To Be Murdered By below.
