Last month, Davido delivered his highly anticipated project A Better Time. Shortly after, he treats fans with a music video for “Jowo,” the second song on the project. Directed by Dammy Twitch, the visual for “Jowo” was shot in Lagos, Nigeria, and details a meet up gone wrong between two gang leaders played by Davido and Nigerian ‘Big Brother’ TV celebrity Rebecca Nengi Hampson while Davido sings:

My baby jo, jowo, jowo. Amina, zomana. Answer me jo, chasin’ me now. It be like you be my destiny, nah. This kind of love e no dey similar, Amina, mutu mina. Mo la e go, gbo temi na. The recent A Better Time project spans across 17 tracks, including early fan favorites like “FEM” and “Holy Ground.” A Better Time includes gust features from some big names like Nicki Minaj, Nas, Chris Brown, Young Thug, and more. Before the project dropped, Davido shared the music video for “So Crazy” featuring one of 2020’s busiest rappers, Lil Baby.

Prior to A Good Time, DaVido delivered the projects Omo Baba Olowo (or Son Of A Rich Man) and the EP Son Of Mercy in 2012 and 2016, working with the likes of Tinashe, Ice Prince, 2 Face Idiba, Simi, Nasty C, and more.
