A few weeks ago, Hitmaka, 50 Cent and Chance The Rapper revealed that R&B singer Jeremih was in ICU with Coronavirus and things weren’t looking good for him. So, they all asked fans and everyone else across social media for their prayers on behalf of Jeremih’s mother and other family members.
It looks like those prayers worked because not that much long afterward, they admitted that he was doing much better and was taken out of ICU, and placed into a regular hospital. Then, earlier this week, Chance confirmed that Jeremih was finally being discharged from the medical facility.
Now, the Chicago singer is finally speaking to everyone since his release and thanking those for their prayers and support during his recovery. In a statement to ABC 7, Jeremih said:
“First and foremost, I would like to thank God and the incredible team of doctors and nurses at Northwestern Hospital for saving my life. I will be forever grateful. I would also like to thank my family and friends for all of their prayers and well wishes. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. A special thanks to Chance The Rapper, 50 Cent, and Diddy for their love and support. I’m getting stronger everyday, and look forward to spending time with my sons. I would also like to thank all my fans, and people all over the world who have prayed for me.”
As REVOLT previously report, Diddy and Chance got Jeremih the best medical professionals to tend to him while he was in ICU. Adam Smith, who works with the singer, admitted in a recent interview: “We had a lot of people in the entertainment capacity that we reached out to, that helped us with their resources. Chance The Rapper has been super helpful. He’s been connecting us with a lot of the doctors. We connected with Puff, he connected us with his entire team at UCLA that he works with. They’re advising the hospital that J is at right now, comparing notes. They’re passing on new information and this is a new disease — you can never have too much information.”
Here’s to a speedy recovery, Jeremih!
