Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are reportedly dating
The pair was spotted having dinner together over the weekend.
After sparking romance rumors for months, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are officially dating, People reports. According to the outlet, a source close to the couple confirmed their relationship status on Monday (Nov. 30).
The news arrives after Page Six reported that Rocky and Rihanna were spotted having dinner together with friends in New York on Saturday night (Nov. 28). Fans have speculated about the pair’s long-time friendship since Rihanna split up with her boyfriend of three years, Hassan Jameel, back in January.
Shortly after the beak-up, The Sun reported that RiRi and Rocky had shared a hotel suite during a trip to New York. However, an unnamed source later told E! that the “Umbrella” singer was still single, but said she and Rocky had a “long history” together.
Over the summer, Rihanna and Rocky collaborated for her Fenty Skin campaign. Rihanna featured the “Everyday” rapper in several promos for the skincare line and the duo appeared together for interviews with GQ and Vogue.
Speaking with GQ, Rocky revealed the “hardest part” about working with Rihanna.
“I think the hardest part about working with you is not goofin’ off and laughing the whole time. Like, this shit is comedy,” he said. “That’s the hardest part. You know, people be so cool it’s hard not to… not to laugh. That’s all. But it was fun. The hardest part is not having too much fun. You just forget that it’s still work at the end of the day.”
Rocky also teamed up with Rihanna back in 2013, when he was an opening act on her Diamonds World Tour. The pair was also seen together at a Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris back in 2018.
Besides tapping Rocky for her Fenty Skin campaign, Rihanna also released her first Savage x Fenty menswear collection this September.
