After dropping off the original track back in July, New York’s newcomer Stunna Gambino tapped Toosii for freshly release version of “Rivals.” On the collab track, Stunna comes in with his verse about humble beginnings:

Came a long way, from dumpin’ checks in Wells Fargo. If it don’t clear by today, then tomorrow. We ain’t have cars to slide on opps. We clapped a tahoe. You really went and broke my heart. I hope you die hoe. I should go and fuck yo bestfriend, to get even. I be switchin’ up foreigns just like the season. I be switchin’ up monclers, I’m anemic.

Last month Stunna linked with Bizzy Banks in “Rockstar From the Trenches.” In 2019, he shared his Underrated project, which included features from names like David Lee, Sleazus Bhrist, and Alpha. Most recently, Toosii tapped in with Phora at the top of this month for his latest project on the song “Traumatized,” and the duo released a visual for the song.

Toosii can also be heard on Queen Naija’s new project on the track titled “One Time.” His last full length body of work was Poetic Pain, which was released in September. Prior to Poetic Pain, Toosii dropped his project Platinum Heart earlier this year in February and gifted fans with the deluxe version as well, both versions containing no features. Platinum Heart (Deluxe) charted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums tally and also entered the Billboard 200.

In an interview from this summer, Toosii reflected on how it feels now that he has people looking up to him:

“I come from a place where we don’t really got nobody to look up to. So, the people we looking up to either dead or in jail right now and if they not, that doesn’t change what I got. But, just to be that dude now that’s riding through the hood, with the nice car, jewelry, and money bag because it’s everything that they want. Knowing that I could be that big influence and doing it the right way. That’d mean a lot.”
