Last week, REVOLT reported that Jeremih was battling COVID-19 and it, unfortunately, wasn’t looking too good. The news surfaced after Hitmaka and 50 Cent revealed that the singer was being hospitalized and in ICU in his hometown of Chicago.

“I need everyone to pray for my brother @jeremih. This message is posted with his mother’s blessings,” the producer captioned a photo of the star on his Instagram. Though he didn’t give anymore details after that, Fif confirmed his illness with another IG post that read: “Pray for my boy @jeremih he’s not doing good this covid shit is real he’s in ICU in Chicago.”

Since then, fellow artists as well as fans have sent prayers the singer’s way. Chance The Rapper and REVOLT’s own Sean “Diddy” Combs even got Jeremih the best doctors to help him pull through.

It looks like all of these good vibes and prayers have helped because his family has reportedly released a statement updating the public on his health. From their message, the artist seems to be improving.

“Jeremih has been transferred out of ICU. He will spend the rest of his recovery time in a regular hospital room. The true healing begins. Thank you all for your continued prayers and wishes,” their statement says, per Global Grind.

TMZ also reported that Jeremih’s family spoke to them, too, and has confirmed that he’s doing much better though he’s still not completely out of the woods just yet.

“We’re also told the fam thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this health scare — there was no shortage of people sending good vibes his way … including a ton of artists he’s collaborated with over the years, like 50 Cent and others,” TMZ claims.

This is great news to hear. Jeremih, please keep going. You got this.
