After Verzuz announced the next matchup between longtime foes Jeezy and Gucci Mane, Wack 100 revealed his plan to get 50 Cent and The Game to go head-to-head in the popular Instagram Live series.

On Sunday (Nov. 16), the hip hop executive took to Instagram to announce that he is in the process of trying to get the “How We Do” collaborators to battle it out in a Verzuz. “I got em to Shake hands and function in the same clubs together twice,” he wrote. “With a little help from @unclemurda & @djkayslay, it just might happen. All Respect @50Cent. You told me we was good. Let’s give em what they want. @losangelesconfidential smiles everyday — #BridgingTheGap.”

The Game and 50 have had a shaky relationship over the years. After the Born 2 Rap emcee split from G-Unit, he went on the attack against the New York rapper. Their beef caused an altercation outside of a studio and gunshots were exchanged.

In 2005, the two appeared together at a press conference at Harlem, New York and publicly claimed that their beef was over. “I’m almost ashamed to have participated in the things that went on the past couple of weeks,” Game said. “I’m here, I’m apologetic. On behalf of myself and 50, we’re making a statement that is a lot louder than just two voices. 50 and I are proving that real situations and real problems can be solved with real talk. This can also be seen as a big step for my organization, Black Wall Street, in terms of making a difference. Maybe we can help save some lives — the way rap music saved mine.”

Starz is currently creating a show titled “Moment in Time: The Massacre” that will explore their 12-year relationship. In the show’s premiere season, it will break down the tension between the artists that eventually “led to an all-out street war, pitting G-Unit against music impresario Jimmy Henchman, resulting in a murder-for-hire plot and Henchman serving a life sentence in prison,” according to NME.
