Juice WRLD recorded thousands of songs before his untimely death, many of which have yet to be released. Some of those records, however, may appear on his upcoming album, label head Lil Bibby confirmed.

Bibby — who signed Juice WRLD to his Grade A Productions label in 2018 — spoke to “The Hollywood Fix” recently and announced he’s working on the late rapper’s second posthumous album. “Juice WRLD[‘s] next album [is] crazy,” he said of the forthcoming project.

Back in April, Bibby was the one to confirm an album would be released in Juice’s absence. Fans initially thought the work would be titled The Outsiders after receiving a tip from his girlfriend, but it later came out under the name Legends Never Die.

The posthumous effort went on to earn the biggest sales week and streaming week for any album in 2020. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and sold 497,000 equivalent album units and 422.63 million on-demand streams.

Juice passed away in December of an accidental overdose

Shortly after his death, his former manager Lil Bibby spoke to REVOLT and revealed the late rapper had recorded more than 2,000 songs.

“He probably has over 2,000 songs made in total. Three albums were an understatement and was what I could think of if I could piece together a body of work and sell 300,000 copies the first week,” he said. “I know we have three to five of those albums minimum.”

According to his mother, Carmela Wallace, the process of sharing her son’s unreleased work “has been no easy feat.”

Juice was a prolific artist who dedicated his life to making music…,” she said previously. “Honoring the love Juice felt for his fans while shining a light on his talents and his spirit are the most important parts of this process to us.”
