The Griselda train continues to roll in 2020. Just last week, Armani Caesar unveiled her latest project THE LIZ, which sees 11 tracks and features from fellow crew members Westside Gunn, Benny The Butcher, and Conway The Machine. Today, Caesar liberates a new visual for the single “Palm Angels,” which is produced by Animoss and sees the Buffalo emcee speaking to some gangster love in her life:

“Let me tell you ‘bout this n***a, make my old n***a look like s***, huh, look like s***, and now since I left, now my old n***a hooked like s***, huh, got him hooked like s***, he the type of n***a, gettin’ money but don’t look like it/

Not like these broke n***as tryna look like Mitch, huh, type of n***a holdin’ bottles up for pics, wanna hold a bankroll so it look like his, nah, he a G so I hooked him in…/”

The visual sees Armani living it up with her love interest, played by YFN Lucci. Both can be seen enjoying each others company in the back of the whip and in the bedroom, ensuring that viewers will wonder about her and the Atlanta rapper’s relationship long after viewing.

Speaking to REVOLT, Armani Caesar spoke on THE LIZ, as well as it’s somewhat cryptic artwork:

“It’s really an introduction because I recorded so much music over quarantine. This is the first project almost to shut people up and let them know A) we rapping, B) the songs are fire, and C) it’s a vibe. … [the album artwork] has Liz Claiborne with the third eye. … We’re giving you art, we’re giving you classic Liz Claiborne. She played Cleopatra, which is a play off Armani Caesar. It’s deeper than rap.”
