The anticipation for Shy Glizzy’s next project has officially begun, and he kicks it off with a fresh new visual for his single “Forever Tre 7” featuring No Savage.

The official confirmation of an upcoming project from the multi-platinum artist came on Sept. 11, when the D.C. rapper tweeted the album cover art and revealed the third installment of his Young Jefe series is arriving on Sept. 18.

Earlier this year, Jefe linked up with Lil Uzi Vert for their collab single “Right or Wrong,” which dropped back on June 18. In 2019, he released two projects: the Aloha EP and his Covered N Blood album. The latter project includes features from YoungBoy Never Broke Again and 3Glizzy.

The song features No Savage the new signee to Shy Glizzy’s label. Glizzy Gang Records, an imprint under 300 Entertainment. No Savage is also a fellow D.C. native, ensuring “Forever Tre 7” will be an anthem that will be blasting throughout the DMV as fans wait for the new project.

In an interview with REVOLT back in May, Shy Glizzy says he started Glizzy Gang Records to bring the DMV sound to a more global scale. “Everybody wants to be the next No Limit or Cash Money, but that’s what I saw for my brand,” he said. “It was a big move. My area never had that light shared upon us, so we brought that to the industry globally.”
