It’s been a few months since Beenie Man and Bounty Killer reunited in battle for Swizz Beatz and Timbaland’s “Verzuz” series, making for one of the best shows thus far. Now, Beenie Man continues to built off that momentum by preparing his fans with his twentieth studio LP Simma, his first official album since 2016’s Unstoppable. Over the past decade, the reggae/dancehall legend has given the masses a few loose singles, including “Wine Gal,” “Weh We Ago Do,” and “I’m Drinking/Rum & Red Bull” with Fambo. Now, fans can check out a visual for his most recent drop “Make Money Plenty,” which comes courtesy of Wilmot Films and is released via Outfytt Records.

The clip shows Beenie Man living the lavish life, complete with a high end car, expansive mansion and the most beautiful women, a couple of which can be seen taking the song’s title literally. Beenie’s flow is still as flawless as he’s ever been, delivering bars about all things cash over fast moving production that would have been perfect for the clubs — had they not been shuttered all over the world this summer due to the still-active Coronavirus pandemic. Still, it’s too infectious not to move your feet to upon listening.

While Beenie Man has been crafting hits since his youth, it wasn’t until his Island Records released Blessed in 1995. Since then, he’s released several albums through the decades under different labels, including the Grammy-winning Art & Life in 2000, which boasted the chart-topping cut “Girls Dem Sugar” with Mya. Other notable singles throughout his career include “Who Am I (Sim Simma),” “Feel It Boy” with Janet Jackson, “Girls” with Akon, and “King Of The Dancehall.” Simply put, Beenie Man is arguably the greatest deejay of all time.

Press play on “Make Money Plenty” below, along with another recent video for “So Many Gal.” In related news, condolences goes out to Beenie Man, who’s mother has reportedly transitioned.
