Longtime Drake fans are probably familiar with the Canadian star’s entrance into other genres, including that of the UK variety — he’s already connected with the likes of Skepta and Giggs from a musical standpoint. Today, he continues that vibe by connecting with North London star Headie One on the track “One You Freestyle,” which sees both artists spazzing over production from M1OnTheBeat:

“Yo, Chubbs might jam this yute for a chain, and gave it to a sweet one, called that Maya Jama, givin’ out gifts like Santa, sippin’ on Sanna, I used to do lean and wok/

Closet filled up with designer, comin’ like Panda, Panda Yeah, gyal just came to the booth, and asked for a wheel, she never heard Drill in Atlanta/

Arabic ting told me that I look like Youssef, look like Hamza Habibti please, ana ‘akyd, ‘iinti w ‘ana ‘ahlaan,

Link up Skull and Gaza but not that Gaza, but still it’s a mazza, n***as want a piece like cassava but we let bridge dem burn like Grabba…/”

The visual is simple and straight to the point, with both artists rapping their lyrics in front of a line of luxury cars and their respective crews. Fans can expect this track to land at the top of charts on both sides of the pond.

Back in April, Headie One released the EP Gang alongside Fred Again, which saw eight tracks can features from FKA Twigs, Jamie xx, and Sampha. He also collaborated with Young T and Bugsey on the track “Don’t Rush,” which climbed to the top 20 of the UK singles chart and earned all parties a well-deserved Gold certification. Drake has been living on the top of the charts as well, thanks to his May release Dark Lane Demo Tapes, which landed at number one on the Billboard 200 thanks to 223,000 album equivalent units.

Press play on “Only You Freestyle.”
