Tamar Braxton was rushed to the hospital Wednesday night (July 15) after a possible suicide attempt, The Blast reports. According to the outlet, the R&B singer had been staying at the Ritz Carlton Residences in Downtown Los Angeles with her partner David Adefeso who reportedly found her unresponsive.

Adefeso called 911 and said Braxton had taken an unknown amount of prescription pills and had been drinking alcohol. TMZ reports that EMTs found Braxton unconscious in her hotel room and rushed her to a nearby hospital in an ambulance. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to The Blast that they received an emergency call around 9:45 p.m. PST on Wednesday (July 15) about a 43-year-old woman who suffered a “possible overdose.”

A spokesperson for the Braxton family has asked fans to keep the reality TV star in their prayers.

“Tamar has had a very tough and emotional day — more information will be coming in the next few days,” the spokesperson said in a statement. “Please pray for her.”

Braxton is reportedly in a stable condition currently, but remains unconscious. According to TMZ, Adefeso told police she had been upset earlier in the day and had threatened suicide.

Prayers and love poured in for the star on social media early Friday morning (July 17). Rapper Yung Baby Tate wished Braxton well by tweeting, “Praying for Tamar to pull through.”

“Tamar is literally one of the best vocalists of our time,” another supporter tweeted. “A criminally underrated one too. Please God let her pull through.”

Braxton released her most recent LP Bluebird of Happiness in 2017. Last year, she competed as a contestant on the second season of the CBS series “Celebrity Big Brother.” Braxton won the show and became the first-ever African American contestant to win a season of the U.S. series.

Her new We TV series “Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life!” was set to premiere July 30. Prayers up for the singer. See some tweets from her supporters below.
