Bluebird of Happiness is the most recent album from R&B diva Tamar Braxton. Featuring a guest appearance from Yo Gotti and production from Rodney Jerkins and Troy Taylor, the album also appears to be her last. Following the announcement that her fifth album would be her final release, she visited The Breakfast Club.

“This is my last album, because this is all I have to say for now,” said Braxton, who said her retirement feels complete and organic, but not forced.

Tamar, who will be joining forces with leading ladies Xscape, Monica and Nene Leakes for the upcoming The Great Xscape Tour, also spoke on her past and current issues with Tiny Harris and Toya Wright. Over the summer, the Love and War singer took to Instagram to attempt to mend her long-time friendship with Tiny. However, the public exchange sparked a war or words between Braxton and Tiny’s bff, Wright.

As she chatted with Angela Yee, Charlamagne tha God and DJ Envy, the former co-host of The Real brushed off the beef with the mother of Lil Wayne’s oldest daughter, but did say she was “devastated” by some of things she had heard Wright say about the songstress. “I was hurt,” she said. I had no idea that that wasn’t my friend.

Tamar Braxton’s interview with The Breakfast Club also covered marriage being “hard as hell” and the effects of being managed by her husband. Check out the full interview above.
