Kodak Black has announced the title of his next studio album. Taking to Twitter on Saturday (April 4), the rapper revealed that Kill Bill is “coming real soon.”

“#KillBill Coming Real Soon Until then vibe to these Championships,” he wrote. Alongside the tweet was an image that originally depicted Kobe Bryant holding his five NBA Championship trophies. Instead, the photoshopped picture now shows Kodak holding onto his five previous projects — 2018’s Dying To Live, Lil Big Pac, Institution, Project Baby and 2014’s debut Heart of the Projects.

Also posting the photo on Instagram, Kodak paid tribute to the late NBA star writing, “RIP KOBE.”

Back in February, Kodak teased his then-untitled album after releasing his Valentine’s Day single, “Because Of You.”

“If This Go Platinum B4 My Birthday Ima Drop A Album,” he wrote on Instagram along with a snippet of the track’s music video. “If Not Ya’ll Gotta Wait Till I Come Home.”

While the previous announcement put Kill Bill at a potential June release date, Kodak’s new post appears to suggest the album will be arriving much sooner.

Kodak was previously transferred to New York’s Niagara County Jail due to reported Coronavirus-related issues. During a video chat, the “ZEZE” rapper revealed his Kentucky detention center had suffered power shortages and other technical issues, which he believed were due to the pandemic.

The transfer marks the third prison Kodak has stayed at during his 46-month sentence. The rapper was first held at a Miami prison, until claims of prison guard abuse ultimately ended in him being moved to the Kentucky facility.

Despite being imprisoned amidst the Coronavirus, Kodak has still found ways to help out the nation’s kids, many of which have been homeschooled since the beginning of the pandemic. Last month, he donated $5,000 worth of books and school supplies to be shipped to students in Broward County, Florida.
