Big Boi has announced his inaugural Kryptonite Festival, set to take place in Atlanta at the Cadence Bank Amphitheater on April 18. The one-day fest features Atlanta-bred talent, like legendary crew Goodie Mob, hip hop duo EarthGang and up-and-coming pair Kneel’n Rey, with more acts to be announced at a later date.

The Outkast MC, who is also set to headline the festival, shared his excitement about the event on Instagram.

“I’ve been waiting so long to have my very own festival,” he wrote on Tuesday (March 3). “To have it in my city is a dream come true and we can’t wait to share this family affair with you. Much love from the bottom of my heart. Presale ticket link in bio. Use code Kyrptonite to get early access starting at 12pm est today.”

According to the Kryptonite Festival’s official website, general admission tickets will go on sale on Friday (March 6) at 10 a.m. EST. Pre-sale tickets became available on Tuesday (March 3), using the code “Kryptonite” on Live Nation.

Besides the festival, Big Boi has also been readying his collaborated album with Sleep Brown Big Sleepover for release later this year. He dropped off his most recent full-length LP, Boomiverse, in 2017. Goodie Mob, which consists of Big Gipp, CeeLo Green, Khujo and T-Mo, released their most recent album, Age Against The Machine, in 2013.

EarthGang dropped off their debut studio album Mirrorland in 2019, and spent much of the year promoting the record on tour. Mirrorland found the duo collaborating with Young Thug, T-Pain, Kehlani, Arin Ray and Malik. After their Kryptonite Festival performance, EarthGang will hit the road again, with shows in France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Canada.
