Def Jam rising star Fredo Bang drops new visual for “Yo Slime”
He’ll also be joining Moneybagg Yo and more on tour this Spring.
There’s something about Baton Rouge, Lousiana. Boosie Badazz, YoungBoy Never Broke Again and more have survived the streets there, clearly a textbook example of what of the most dangerous plots of land on this country we call the United States. Despite the hardships, Baton Rouge has also become a hotbed for amazing artists — specifically in regards to our culture. At only 23, Fredo Bang has seen and experienced more of life’s negatives than many twice his age — loss of life, prison time, and everything else in between. Now he looks to continue his ascent into hip hop’s upper echelon, having already released high-quality tunes over the past couple of years.
This week, fans get to check out a new single from the Def Jam star titled “Yo Slime,” which sees production from Hardbody B-Eazy and DJ Chose and sees Fredo standing ten toes down on the hard-hitting number:
“Ain’t no creases in my Guccis, I ain’t never runnin’/
Ain’t no h** up in my blood, I never pipe down/
When I step foot up in your city, I be iced out/
Like fox a mil’, you try me pussy, you get wiped down/
Yea, block, hot big Glock, iced rocks/
H*** droppin like it’s hot, yeah n***a I’m the s***/
Yeah, they always dissin’ in these songs talkin’ murder/
One theezy out the windows, they do hurdles…/”
The song also comes with an accompanying visual courtesy of ShotByDemarcusTV, a simple-yet-perfect match for the raw cut. The track itself is said to be taken from Fredo Bang’s forthcoming release Most Hated, which will hopefully arrive soon.
Check out “Yo Slime” below, available on all major platforms. Also added below are the upcoming dates for Moneybagg Yo’s Time Served tour, which Fredo will be supporting alongside Blacc Zacc, 42 Dugg and more.
