Moneybagg Yo is starting the year off with a new album and a new relationship. The “All Dat” rapper stopped by Hot 97 and discussed a little bit about his personal life.
While promoting his upcoming album, Time Served, the Memphis rapper decided to talk a little about his new relationship with Ariana “Ari” Fletcher.
The two have been spotted together on multiple occasions, sparking rumors that they were dating. Moneybagg confirmed those rumors by saying, “We rockin’. You know what I’m sayin’? What you see is what you get.” He then insisted that he really wants to keep their relationship private. He said, “Hopefully this situation can just go with the flow.”
Last year, Moneybagg was in a highly publicized relationship with Megan Thee Stallion, but things seemed to fizzle out. Megan confirmed that the relationship was over in one of her freestyles. She rapped, “I’m 24 and single, ain’t no ring on my finger.” TMZ caught up with the Hot Girl in Beverly Hills on Saturday (Dec. 7) and asked her if she was in a relationship. “I’m single!” she replied, adding that if she does find someone to head into cuffing season with, he’ll have to be “funny and nice.”
Moneybagg’s new boo, Ari, is the ex and baby mother of Chicago rapper, G Herbo. He and Ari had a tumultuous break up. Herbo recently plead guilty to battery for physically assaulting Ari after the two had an argument at her home. He allegedly dragged Ari by her hair and left her with visible scratches and bruises. He then left the scene with their son, but came back to the scene and spoke to the police. Herbo was sentenced to 12 months of probation and 150 hours of community service. He also has to attend a 24-week family violence intervention program.
Ari is showing support for her boo. She posted his upcoming album’s cover and captioned the post, “All 99282729 hours in the studio was worth it, this shit so hard. Proud of you!1st to hear it 😜@Moneybaggyo 1/10/20 🖤.” Moneybagg says that he isn’t letting Ari go anytime soon. He wrote, “Ian never leaving my Bih she a dime. Y would I switch out a dime for a penny?!” on his Instagram account.
