It was recently reported that Young Buck was arrested for an outstanding warrant, but little was known about the actual charge.

According to a new report from Scoop Nashville, Tennessee police have arrested Buck over a child abandonment warrant from Newton County, Georgia.

The rapper was arrested on Friday (Dec. 20) and is currently being held without bond, due to a felony fugitive from justice warrant. According to Scoop Nashville, the 38-year-old rapper’s next court date is scheduled for May 7, 2020.

This isn’t the rapper’s first brush in with the law. In 2016, he was arrested for a probation violation for neglecting a restraining order. Later, in 2017, he was indicted on domestic assault and vandalism charges.

Buck was also recently engaged in a social media beef with his former G-Unit boss, 50 Cent. Earlier this year, he dropped two diss tracks aimed at 50, the latest being his “Foofy Freestyle.”

“Come on, Foofy—this Instagram shit done got goofy/Let’s focus on them $2 million that nigga robbed me/Let’s talk about them bitches you burnt, them hoes chargin’/You know what I learned? How not to be a father!” he rapped in the song.

50 is allegedly refusing to let Buck out of his contract. 50 wants Buck to pay him $300,000 to get out of it. Buck’s fans have launched a GoFundMe account in an effort to help Buck raise the money, which would free him from the contract.

50 also trolls Buck about his alleged relationship with a transgender woman. He reposted meme that said, “When you comfortable with your sexuality you move different. Peep how the one that’s trying to distant his self is the one who got caught with one smh.” The meme included a photo of 50 taking a picture with a transgender fan, while Buck stood off to the side.
