Post Malone was one of several performers at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve event in New York City. Unfortunately, his set suffered a minor mishap.

While he was performing, Posty tumbled off the stage and fell into the front row crowd. Photos were captured of the misstep, which show security and others struggling to pull Post back on stage.

“Here’s the aftermath of Post Malone falling off the stage tonight,” one concert attendee tweeted. “He had just hugged Seacrest and went to shake fans’ hands and his foot slipped off the stage. After he and fans got over the initial shock he smiled for a selfie as roadies helped him back up.”

The rest of his performance appeared to go smoothly. The New York-born artist donned a bright pink suit and sang hits like “Congratulations” and “Circles.”

Despite the fall, the New Year’s Eve performance wrapped up a successful 2019 for Post. Hollywood’s Bleeding, his album that featured Future, Meek Mill, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Ozzy Osbourne and more, won the American Music Award for Best Rap Album.

“I’m not too good at talking in front of people but I just wanna say thank you so much to everybody who showed love and support,” he said during his acceptance speech. “I just wanna say thank you to everybody on the camp and on the team and thank you for all the fans for showing love and support. We busted our ass for it so, you know, it feels good.”

Furthermore, at this year’s Billboard Music Awards, he was also nominated for Top Male Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top Streaming Artist and more. His collaborated single with Swae Lee, “Sunflower,” is currently in the running for the Record of the Year Award and Best Pop Duo / Group Performance Award at the 2020 Grammy Awards.

Following his New Year’s Rockin’ Eve performance, Post will hit the road again for the second leg of his Runway Tour in February. The tour is set to continue through March.
