Mozzy joins forces with King Von and G Herbo for “Body Count” video

The quarantine-styled clip is taken from ‘Beyond Bulletproof.’

The top of the month saw Mozzy liberating his new album Beyond Bulletproof, which saw 13 new tracks from the Sacramento star and features from Polo G, Eric Bellinger, Shordie Shordie, and more. Following high quality visuals for “I Ain’t Perfect,” “Pricetag,” “Boyz To Men,” and “The Homies Wanna Know,” Mozzy returns with a new clip for “Body Count,” which features Chicago stars King Von and G Herbo. Over production from Manu, the collaborators speak on the kind of subject matter that you’d expect from a song with this title:

“Why would I lie about the body count? Why would you pull up on me unannounced?/

I’m hold loose at the haunted house, it’s all kinda zombies runnin’ in and out/

Who want the clout? We hit him five times, that n***a died and came back to life/

Posted a picture while he in the ‘spital, he goin’ up, gang on the likes.../”

The visual sees all three rappers holed up in their respective residences under quarantine, with Mozzy watching the news, playing video games and side-eyeing the food delivery guy for coughing on his order. King Von gets into some light cleaning and exercise, while G Herbo can be seen with a few friends partaking in other extracurricular activities.

During an appearance on REVOLT’s “The Round Up,” Mozzy spoke on how he’s fared in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic:

“I hate the fact that I can’t, we’re uncertain about touring. But other than that, man I’m juiced, like you said man, it’s a big weight... I ain’t gonna lie, it’s gucci, I’m enjoying the whole rollercoaster of this s***. I wake up, get straight to it. Whether I’m writing a verse, whether I be helping my daughters with homework and I’m making waffles and, you know, eggs and bacon or... I go straight to the studio, I just build like a little compound for the gangland.”
