Jennifer Hudson is the latest R&B songstress to bring her powerful vocals to fans across the world through Instagram Live.
In an Instagram post, Hudson wrote, “‘Together.’ It’s so important to stay home right now, so I’ve partnered up with my friends at @glblctzn to bring you a concert from my home to yours that will be live streaming here on IG on Wednesday, March 25th at 1 pm PT/ 4 pm ET. Also, my number is 312-584-4141 so text me! I can’t wait to talk to you all more. #TogetherAtHome.”
Hudson is starring as Aretha Franklin in the upcoming biopic, Respect. The film is slated to be released in August of this year, but with the current state of the world under the Coronavirus pandemic, its release could be pushed back.
Hudson will join Forest Whitaker, Marlon Wayans, Audra McDonald, Marc Maron, Tituss Burgess, Saycon Sengbloh, Hailey Kilgore, Skye Dakota Turner, Tate Donovan and Mary J. Blige in the cast, with director Liesl Tommy.

Global Citizens launched the “Together At Home” concert series in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO). The virtual shows aim to unite humanity at a time when they feel alone in their homes during the pandemic. The concert series encourages people to stay home and practice social distancing to help stop the spread of Coronavirus. Other celebrities that have performed under “Together At Home” are Chloe x Halle, Miguel, John Legend, Ziggy Marley, and Common.
