It’s official! After a long week of waiting for more of the remaining election results in key swing states such as Pennsylvania, Nevada, Georgia and Arizona; the American people finally received confirmation that Former Vice President Joe Biden won Pennsylvania and, as a result, has become the president-elect.

Millions of citizens who voted for Biden across the country are overjoyed that a new day for the United States is now here that Trump was defeated and will leave the White House in January when Biden is officially inauguration.

Even Former President Barack Obama, who Biden served under as vice president from 2009 - 2017, reacted to the news. “I could not be prouder to congratulate our next president, Joe Biden, and our next first lady, Jill Biden,” Barack wrote on IG.

“I also couldn’t be prouder to congratulate Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff for Kamala’s groundbreaking election as our next vice president... Our democracy needs all of us more than ever. And Michelle and I look forward to supporting our next president and first lady however we can.”

Michelle added on Twitter: “I’m beyond thrilled that my friend Joe Biden and our first Black and Indian-American woman Vice President Kamala Harris are headed to restore some dignity, competence, and heart at the White House. Our country sorely needs it.”

Meanwhile, social media has a plethora of jokes — per usual — and people on Twitter, specially, are poking fun at what they think Trump’s reaction to the news was. They were a countless amount of memes circulating the cracks on the current president straight up losing it over losing the election to Biden.
