“Wow Dats Crzy” is a new digital interview series that’s hosted by media personality ItsBizkit, where he chops it up with some of the hottest stars in hip hop today.

Just two years ago, Brooklyn native Flipp Dinero signed to DJ Khaled’s We The Best Music imprint after his double-platinum single “Leave Me Alone” took over radio airwaves all across the country.

With his debut album, Love For Guala, moving major units and another heater in the form of “How I Move” featuring Lil Baby graciously running up numbers on YouTube, the 24-year-old had a conversation with ItsBizkit for this week’s episode of “Wow Dats Crzy” about what it’s like working for the hit-making mogul.

“Working With DJ Khaled is different,” he revealed. “Just having someone that’s so ambitious and so energetic. He will put the battery in your back and it’s like I’m coming to him with the energy like, ‘Bro, I got this and I know that it’s something.’ Once he hears it he goes, ‘Oh, s**t. Yo Flipp, what the f**k?’ Just watching him turn up, it makes me want to turn up even more. His energy is contagious.”

Additionally, Flipp emphasized how important it’s been for him to keep that type of good energy around him as way to keep on being creative.

“Once you surround yourself with good people and people with good energy, you’re going to do good yourself,” he added. “I mean, that’s how I look at it. It’s just being mindful of who you surround yourself with.”

As Flipp continues on his journey to create more hard-hitting anthems, he explained the key is to just be himself, and it appears he’s keeping the movement with his recently released single “Jump Off.”

“If I stay in my own lane, and keep being versatile, and creating my own sound, and depending on myself to make the sound I want to make, everything is going to turn out the way I want it to be,” he said. “It’s just being creative.”
