We recently sat down with Dallas artist Honey Banks for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation she discussed focusing on her artistry this year, life in Faraday, Louisiana, having a rough childhood, her mom being a teen mom and moving to Texas with her grandma, her mental health during these experiences, her mom breaking her piano, having a diverse music taste and musical influences, big life lesson, showcase hosting Dallas, having a love for independent artist in the city, having Big E as her mentor, taking music seriously when she almost passed away twice, getting hit in the head with a glass jar, almost dying after being pregnant with twins, going into premature labor, having the strength to keep going with her music, and much more!
