Twitter reacts to Meek Mill’s hilarious diving fail

The rapper took a dive during Vory’s recent birthday party.

Fans are reacting to Meek Mill’s diving skills — or lack thereof — after a hilarious clip of the rapper belly-flopping into a huge pool began circulating on social media Wednesday night (Aug. 18). According to TMZ, which reported the news the following day (Aug. 19), Meek rented out the DreamWorks Water Park on Wednesday to host a birthday bash for his DreamChasers Records artist Vory, who recently turned 24.

During the festivities, Meek was filmed taking a leap into one of the New Jersey water park’s huge pools. The Philadelphia native attempted to dive, but instead ended up belly-flopping in the water.

Meek Mill can’t be a real person. Who tf dives like that,” one fan joked on Twitter.

However, Meek was all smiles when he returned to the water’s surface, showing the flop did not diminish his spirits. According to TMZ, DreamWorks, located at the American Dream Mall, is the largest waterpark in the country. The facility is reportedly home to 40 water slides and the world’s biggest indoor wave pool.

By the looks of it, Vory enjoyed the birthday festivities, too. The Grammy-winning artist called the event a “movie” on his Instagram Story. Besides being signed to Meek’s DreamChasers label, Vory is also one of the featured artists on Kanye West’s forthcoming album, Donda.

In other Meek news, the 34-year-old was recently honored by the Nelson Mandela Foundation with the 2021 Changemaker Humanitarian Award. The foundation noted Meek’s work in criminal justice reform, which he’s made significant headway in over the past few years. Earlier this summer, REFORM Alliance, which Meek is a part of, helped passed a new law in Virginia that made changes to the state’s probation policies. According to Virginia’s legislative website, the legislation limits “the amount of active incarceration a court can impose as a result of a revocation hearing for a probation violation,” as well as other reforms, and was signed into law by Gov. Ralph Northam.
