Does G Herbo have a joint album with Polo G in the works? Not right now, but if he has it his way, he could in the future.

Speaking with Bootleg Kev for an interview that debuted on Monday (July 5), Herbo addressed the possibility of a few joint projects with other rappers, and his fellow Chicago artist Polo G came up.

“I ain’t gon’ lie. To be honest, I’m working on some joint albums already,” Herbo said on the podcast. “I wanna do a joint with Polo. Me and Polo [will] probably do a joint.”

Herbo is less than a week removed from unloading 25, a new album with a title that references his age. For that project, he served up an example of what a Herbo and Polo G joint project might look like with “Cry No More,” a track that features Polo and Lil Tjay. With their knack for vivid street narratives and a similarly blunt brand of lyricism, Herbo and Polo make a lot of sense for a joint LP. On other parts of 25, Herbo links up with 21 Savage, the Kid Laroi, Gunna and Rowdy Rebel.

While he just dropped his new LP, it’s clear that Herbo has no problems plotting for the future. During this same interview with Kev, Herbo mentions that he’s recorded music with Tee Grizzley, another artist he’d like to drop a project with. He also says that his planned collaboration album with Lil Bibby, who’s been more into the music exec side of things the last few years, is still on the way.

Getting into a more theoretical zone, Herbo named Jay-Z as someone he’d like to do some songs with. Watch Herbo speak on potential joint albums for yourself below. Be sure to check out 25 when you’re done.
