Rihanna is expanding her Fenty empire. On Wednesday (July 28), the 33-year-old mogul announced that Fenty Beauty will soon be releasing its own perfume.

“FENTYPARFUM COMING SOON,” Rihanna alerted fans on Instagram along with two self-portraits.

In another post, she revealed what she loves about perfume: “That’s the thing I love the most — it’s a memory encapsulated into a fragrance. You never forget it.”

Fenty Beauty’s Instagram page also teased the forthcoming drop in a post on Tuesday (July 27). The company shared a video of a brown glass bottle with the caption, “Something sensual, confident yet sexxy. Coming your way very soon.”

This won’t be Rihanna’s first venture into fragrance, but it will be Fenty’s. Back in 2010, the Anti singer partnered with the fragrance house Parlux to release her own line of perfumes, including Nude, Reb’l Fleur and Riri. Rihanna also had her own men’s cologne called Rogue Man.

It’s unclear what direction Fenty perfume will take, but fans are already excited. The beauty brand has enjoyed immense success since RiRi first launched it in 2017. Last year, she followed up Fenty Beauty with the launch of her skincare line, Fenty Skin.

“You have all these ideas of things you want for yourself and for me, beauty was a natural fit because makeup is such a huge part of my career and image,” the superstar told InStyle after launching Fenty Beauty. “I wanted to do a line for years, but it needed to be credible — something that industry pros and girls around the world would respect.”

According to Harper’s Bazaar, Rihanna’s Fenty haircare line is up next. The singer reportedly filed a new trademark application for the brand name “Fenty Hair” in March. The line will include “everything from styling, straightening, relaxing and waving products, as well as hair color and even hair glitter.”
