Kodak Black is showing his appreciation for Donald Trump after being pardoned by the former president. The newly freed artist recently appeared on “The Fat Joe Show,” where he and Fat Joe discussed his post-prison charity efforts, return to music and more. During the chat, Kodak revealed his new diamond-encrusted ring that reads, “Trump Ties.”

“I can’t see what it say,” Joe said on Instagram Live as Kodak held up the hefty piece of jewelry.

“Trump Ties!” Kodak replied, resulting in chuckles from Joe.

The championship-style ring isn’t the first time Kodak has connected himself to Trump. After the recently acquitted former president commuted Kodak’s prison sentence earlier this year, the rapper thanked him on social media.

“I Want To Thank The President [Donald Trump] For His Commitment To Justice Reform And Shortening My Sentence,” he wrote on Twitter. “I Also Want To Thank Everyone For Their Support And Love. It Means More Than You Will Ever Know. I Want To Continue Giving Back, Learning And Growing.”

In a statement, the White House cited Kodak’s dedication to philanthropy as a reason to grant him clemency.

“Kodak Black is a prominent artist and community leader. This commutation is supported by numerous religious leaders, including Pastor Darrell Scott and Rabbi Schneur Kaplan,” the statement read.

“Before his conviction and after reaching success as a recording artist, Kodak Black became deeply involved in numerous philanthropic efforts. In fact, he had committed to supporting a variety of charitable efforts, such as providing educational resources to students and families of fallen law enforcement officers and the underprivileged,” it continued.

Since his release, Kodak has made good on his promise to continue performing charitable deeds. Earlier this week, REVOLT reported on Kodak’s new $100,000 college scholarship, which he set up in honor of the Parkland shooting victims. Prior to that, the 23-year-old also offered to cover the education costs of the children of two slain FBI agents.
