Since the clock struck midnight on Saturday (Aug. 15), fans, family and friends of Nipsey Hussle have been wishing the late rapper a happy 35th birthday across social media.

From fellow recording artists like Rick Ross, Russ, Jermaine Dupri to close homies like Snoop Dogg, Dave East, Karen Civil and so many more; people haven’t been shy to honor the fallen star whose life was tragically taken on March 31, 2019 outside of his The Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles, California.

“One day we’ll meet again… Happy 35th birthday Nip,” Civil posted on her social media, while East published a photo of the two of them posing together with a set of marathon flag emojis in his caption. Sir Freezy tweeted: “Happy 35th to a brother, one of my mentors, one of my collaborators and a hero of the community. @NipseyHussle we miss you and the only way I know best to honor you is to keep grinding and pushing the ball forward. The marathon will continue always brotha.”

Since these posts, Nipsey’s girlfriend, actress Lauren London, posted a heartfelt message to the love of her life, as well. With a photo of Nip, she wrote, “King Ermias, Best friend, Twin Flame, Greatest Teacher, Beautiful Strong Vessel, The Spiritual Giant that walked Earth. ‘I Miss You’ will never be deep enough for the void left in my soul. Yet, I know you walk with me- always still. Happy 35th. Eternally Yours, Boogie.”

Supporters of London such as LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, OT Genasis, E-40, JT of City Girls, Karrueche and more soon flooded her comments section with heart emojis and flags to show that their thoughts and prayers are still with her. “Sending you lots of love, today. And everyday,” producer Lena Waithe even said.

Happy C day, Nip.
