Doja Cat is still on a high following the release of her “Say So (Remix)” with Nicki Minaj.

The Hot Pink singer recently spoke to Nick Cannon about how she “manifested” her collaboration with the “Yikes” rapper.

“It was a conversation for a long time,” Doja said. “And I was like, ‘This is who I want, this is who I want. Please God, please, please, please.’ And it just happened.”

The idea originally started as a joke with her fans on Instagram Live.

“I was ending every sentence with ‘featuring Nicki Minaj,’” she continued. “So I was saying, ‘Damn you look good featuring Nicki Minaj’ [or] ‘My ass itch featuring Nicki Minaj,’” she said.

“But, that was so long ago but then, it happened and I feel like I manifested it or something,” she added. “It wasn’t discussed before so it was a surprise for me too, but she killed it as per usual.”

The original version of “Say So” currently sits at the No. 6 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100. The single became Doja’s first Top 10 Hot 100 hit back in March.

Following the release of the remix, the song made history. Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage,” and Doja’s single, marks the first time in chart history that two solo songs by female rappers have both ranked within the Top 10 simultaneously.

“I always knew I wanted to entertain people my whole life, I just didn’t know exactly how I was going to do it until I was 16 and everything blossomed on SoundCloud,” Doja told Billboard last year.

“That’s where it was all born,” she continued. “Then, I knew exactly how I was going to do it, too. At that point, I had a system already, kind of. I’d make a song, put it on SoundCloud, then I’d go on YouTube, and I’d post two songs a month. I would do pictures and edit them and make album covers. It was super fun for me.”
