Cinematographer Arthur Jafa may have just announced Kanye West’s next album title. Speaking via Instagram Live with fashion icon Michèle Lamy, he explained that he’s currently working with Kanye on a new music video, which he says will be the first offering from ‘Ye’s next album, God’s Country.

“It’s from his new record,” Jafa said about the video, noting that it’s not connected to Kanye’s Sunday Service Choir. “It’s called God’s Country and this will be, like, the first single, I guess, off of it. I don’t know if I’m supposed to not be announcing it or whatever. I may just be spilling the beans.”

“But yeah, it’s from a new record that’s forthcoming,” he continued. “I don’t know when the album is coming out but the single, I think, maybe some time next week. Maybe. It’s not sure. It’s not definite.”

Jafa previously used Kanye’s 2016 track “Ultralight Beam” in his film, Love Is The Message, The Message Is Death. The award-wining visual artist has also created music videos for the likes of JAY-Z and Solange.

Last year, ‘Ye released his Jesus Is King album, followed by his Sunday Service Choir compilation project, Jesus Is Born. He’s previously teased a Dr. Dre-produced Jesus Is King II and explained how his music has changed since embracing Christianity.

“I was thinking of not rapping again, because I rapped for the devil so long that I didn’t even know how to rap for God,” he told GQ last month. “Then one of my pastors told me, ‘My son just said that he would want a rap album about Jesus from Kanye West.’ He didn’t say, ‘Kanye West, you should do this,’ or ‘you need to do this.’ He just told me something that a child said. And that one thing made the difference.”
