Drake has named his top five rappers of all time.

On Thursday (May 14), the “Nonstop” MC shared the list in the comments section of Young Tony’s Instagram post. He wrote, “My top 5 is Biggie, Hov, Wayne, Young Tony and 3000 since nobody asked.”

Young Tony, also known as OVO Hush, is a Toronto-based rapper who has been in Drake’s crew for a long time. He is also named in a few songs such as “Miss Me” and “Deep Pockets.” Back in 2010, Drizzy tweeted about listening to his music.

“Califate, C4, Mayhem Morearty, Illy, Richie Sosa, Camo, Young Tony, Theo3, Promise…craziest T.O. playlist in the studio right now!!!” he tweeted.

It’s a no-brainer that Wayne would be in Drake’s top five. He is credited with launching Drizzy’s career. The two have collaborated on multiple songs together such as “HYFR,” “The Motto,” “Miss Me” and “Money To Blow.” During a recent episode of “Young Money Radio,” the pair revealed that their new collaborative tracks would be coming soon.

Biggie has always been one of Drake’s favorite rappers. He recently paid homage to the late MC’s Life After Death album by using some of its intricacy to create his last project, Scorpion.

“My last album was high volume. I had to sorta like…Notorious B.I.G. put this album out and the ratio of songs versus just important songs was so incredible that I wanted to set a challenge myself, you know,” he said. “I hate to age myself, but I been doing this 10 plus years as well. Sometimes you gotta set a little target goal for yourself to keep it interesting.”

The “Toosie Slide” rapper has always showed his admiration for JAY-Z as well. The two artists have collaborated on multiple tracks together such as “Talk Up,” “Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2” and “Off That.”
