XXXTentacion murder suspect requests bond amidst COVID-19

Dedrick D. Williams is reportedly concerned about contracting the virus in jail.

Dedrick D. Williams – one of four suspects in XXXTentacion’s murder case – is requesting to be released from jail on bond due to his concerns about the Coronavirus. In a letter from Williams to judge Michael A. Usan obtained by TMZ, Williams says he has a weakened immune system and is worried about the novel virus taking his life.

“I am sending you this letter to save my life,” his letter reads.

Furthermore, Williams claims that Florida’s Broward County Jail, which is also where YNW Melly is currently being held, isn’t testing its inmates for Coronavirus. Williams says the disease was initially brought in by a deputy, who gave it to a prisoner.

Continuing his letter, Williams referenced his past seven years of dealings with Judge Usan.

“Since the age of 17 I’ve had you as a judge. I am now 24. Never have I missed court or failed a drug test since being in your courtroom,” he wrote.

Williams also said that he doesn’t want to leave his children without a father and wished Usan and his own family good health.

“I hope that you and your family are safe as well,” he concluded.

Usan has not yet made a ruling in Williams’ release.

Two years ago, Williams Michael Boatwright, Trayvon Newsome, Robert Allen and Williams were indicted by a grand jury for first-degree murder and armed robbery with a firearm in the murder case of 20-year-old XXXTentacion. Williams has maintained his innocence since the rapper’s death. XXX was gunned down in 2018 while he was leaving a motorcycle store in South Florida.

On April 10, Lil Wayne dropped the video for his and the late rapper’s posthumous collaboration, “School Shooters.” The Jasper Sheff and John Cunningham-produced track first appeared on the XXX’s posthumous Bad Vibes Forever album in 2019.
