Swizz Beatz and Timbaland have kept us all entertained during COVID-19 with the many VERZUZ battles that have taken place on Instagram Live. The battles have drawn thousands of viewers and have become an important part of the culture. We’ve seen T-Pain versus Lil Jon, Ne-Yo versus Johntá Austin, Mannie Fresh versus Scott Storch and RZA versus DJ Premier. Now, it seems like Ja Rule wants to try his luck in a battle against his nemesis 50 Cent.

While Swizz was on Instagram Live with Fat Joe, Ja called Joe and said that he is open to a battle with his longtime foe.

“I want all the smoke,” he told Joe on the phone. “I’ll behave.”

Swizz then said that he wants to make sure that their intentions for the battle are where they need to be before anything is set up.

Aside from his never-ending beef with 50, the “Put It On Me” rapper has been doing his part to help the homeless population during COVID-19. Ja and his ICONN company have partnered with the Knock Knock Give A Sock nonprofit organization to donate 2,000 protective masks to homeless shelters in New York City.

“I’m happy to announce that I’ll be teaming up with Knock Knock Give A Sock and my company ICONN and I’ll be donating 2,000 masks,” the “Always On Time” rapper announced on Instagram. “While we’re all being urged to stay at home and stay safe, sometimes we kind of forget about those who don’t have a home to go to, who can’t stay safe. So, I’m donating 2,000 masks to the homeless.”

Through his ICONN website, individuals can purchase their own mask. For every mask that is bought, one will be donated to a homeless shelter. The masks are reusable, washable, and made out of cotton.
