Drake’s hits have long inspired viral dances and it appears a snippet from an allegedly unreleased track is already primed to do exactly that. Over the weekend, a new dance coined the “Toosie Slide” became the next viral dance challenge as the majority of America stays home and self-quarantines. The challenge was first launched by a group of four dancers, who put their “Toosie Slide” moves to what appears to be a snippet from an unreleased Drake single.

On the track, Drake can be heard singing, “Gotta dance but it’s really on some street sh*t/ Ima show you how to get it, it go right foot up / Left foot slide / Left foot up / Right foot slide/ Basically I’m saying either way we ‘bout to slide / Can’t let this one slide / Don’t you wanna dance with me?”

On beat with his rhymes, the dance crew slides from left to right, and the “Toosie Slide” was born. So far, Drizzy hasn’t confirmed nor denied that the snippet is from one of his unreleased joints. However, it’s no secret that the OVO boss is currently gearing up to drop his next album and could have several hits stored in the vault.

While fans are eagerly awaiting the follow-up to 2018’s Scorpion, its unclear whether Drake’s next project will be delayed due to the current pandemic. Drizzy reportedly self-quarantined after spending time with Kevin Durant, who was diagnosed with Coronavirus. Later on, Drake shared that he had been tested for the novel virus, which came back negative.

On Monday (March 30), Drake revealed that he was missing his “beautiful family” amidst social distancing efforts. He also shared his first photos of his two-year-old son Adonis.

Drake’s music previously reached TikTok fame with the “Flip The Switch” challenge. See the original “Toosie Slide” and hear the alleged song snippet below.
