Lil Wayne is not playing games when he gets in the studio. The Funeral rapper has revealed that he has recorded over 50 songs in one night.

During an interview on MTV’s “Fresh Out,” Wayne told the show’s host Jamila Mustafa that he recorded 53 songs in one night.

“When you leave the session and you ask ‘Can I get what got from what I did tonight?’ and it comes back as files of what you done from that night, my last files was 53,” Wayne said of his efficiency. “So I did 53 songs that night.”

The amount of songs Wayne recorded in one night shouldn’t be a surprise to fans. Back in January, he told Zane Lowe that he had over 20 albums worth of songs ready to go in the vault.

“I have beautiful fans,” Wayne told Lowe. “But my fans all…they also know that once it’s put out, they already know I’m moving on. They already know I got 20 more albums already in my back pocket.”

Funeral was released on Jan. 31 and reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart moving 139,000 equivalent album units. Funeral is Wayne’s fifth No. 1 album following Tha Carter V, Tha Carter IV, I Am Not a Human Being and Tha Carter III.

The 24-song LP features appearances from Lil Baby, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, XXXTentacion, Takeoff, The Dream and more. Four songs from the album debuted on the Billboard Hot 100, giving Wayne more top 40 hits than Elvis Presley. Wayne now has 82 top 40 Hot 100 hits, just 18 behind Drake.

He also gave fans a corresponding Funeral merchandise line with the album’s release. The collection included graphic tees, vinyl, physical copies of the CD, long-sleeve shirts, hoodies, hats, stickers, and beanies. The prices ranged from $13 to $60.
