It appears that Lil Pump is leaving the rap game. The “Gucci Gang” rapper took to Instagram on Thursday (Feb. 13) to announce his retirement.

“I’m done doing music I quit,” he wrote on his Instagram Story, according to XXL.

Pump delivered his last full-length album, Harverd Dropout, in 2019. He followed up the project with his single “Coronao Now” featuring El Alfa later that year.

Besides music, the 19 year old has recently stayed busy with entrepreneurial ventures, including a brand ambassadorship with cannabis company Smoke Unhappy. Pump reportedly contributes creative and marketing ideas to the company, as well as being the face of the cannabis brand.

Back in December, Pump paid tribute to Juice WRLD during his Rolling Loud Los Angeles set. Pump played Juice’s breakout hit “Lucid Dreams” and omitted his Harverd Dropout cut “Drug Addicts” out of respect for the late rapper. Juice had been a scheduled headliner for the festival prior to his tragic passing.

Pump wasn’t the only one to honor his friend at the festival. Juice’s girlfriend Ally Lotti also took the stage to remember the 21-year-old star.

“Hello, I just wanted to come out here and let everyone know that Jarad loved every single person that he helped on this earth,” Lotti said. “He literally loved every single one of you guys. There’s not a time that he had showed me any different love that he felt for you. He wants everyone to know that you need to take any negative thing in your life—he would tell you every time he saw you—and change that to a positive situation.”

Despite announcing his early retirement, Pump is a confirmed performer for Rolling Loud Miami this May. Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky and Post Malone are set to headline the festival, while other performances will include 21 Savage, City Girls, DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Ricch, Lil Uzi Vert, Big Sean and Gunna.
